In this warming class we explore dynamic movement with breath accompanied by music. Postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote balance in the body. We make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, hip openers and arm balance. This is a mindful, intuitive practice where we connect to a more graceful and steady movement in the body as well as build strength and stability.
You can expect an emphasis on repetition, ease of movement, exploration of movement patterns, dynamic flows and key postures that benefit and balance your body. You can also expect a little less verbal instruction as music will be playing. The rhythm and mindfulness of this practice promotes relaxation and stability.
All levels welcome (some experience recommended)
